
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican-American actress. Her breakout role was in Miss Bala (2011), a Mexican crime drama film. The actress went on to be seen in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015), Going Under (2016), and Annabelle: Creation (2017). Sigman was a star in Narcos (2015), S.W.A.T. (2017) and the second season of both of the series. Sigman was born to a Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Sigman is a U.S. citizen through her father. [2][3][4] Her father, the baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. Her career began in Mexican television before making her debut on film in Rio de Oro. She played the lead role in Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala), a Mexican crime drama. [6] The film was picked as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscar Awards, but it did not make the cut.
