Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Ilkay Silk has been a director, actress writer, producer, and teacher for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk's dad is from Britain, and her mother is an Turkish Cypriot English expat. She remembers watching her mother work at play rehearsals. In her early years Anna was a part of a variety of television commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto so that her acting skills could develop. In the following years, she was able to move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. They were engaged. The couple was married in a civil ceremony that was held in December, and then renewed their vows in the form of a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton in April of 2011 after Anna's conversion to Judaism. Bo's relationship to Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured in the list of CNN's all-time Favorite TV Couples and was named the top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. The success of the show has led to Anna amassing a significant online following on social media.
