Andrea Elson
Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and former model is currently a retired actor. Elson began her acting career in her early years and as a model. The actress is most famous for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-Fiction series. Andrea got the part of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986), after auditioning. Andrea was on the show for a number of years in various TV series and Movies of the week before she decided to leave the entertainment industry. Andrea Elson's portrayal of Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teenager daughter was shot during a particularly turbulent period to Andrea Elson. In a retrospective that aired in 2000, People Elson said developing as an actress in the midst viewers of sitcoms was hard. Born on the 6th of March 1969, in New York City, this green-eyed actress was a frequent traveler because her father worked as an advertisement. As early as 10-years-old Andrea lived in New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. When she was in San Diego Andrea got an agent and was offered the role she tried to audition for. Fusco was in favor of the idea, saying that "ALF is 285 years old, he drinks beer because he's enough. However as ALF became more popular with young children, NBC told Fusco it was not appropriate to have him drinking the kids are watching it's a bad image to model. Fusco believed ALF was able to drink alcohol though he was considered an adult. In 1995, he received a diagnosis of lymphoma which was effectively treated, and continued to be in remission until the year 2019. The 26th of June, 2019 at age 75, he succumbed to his illness in the Lillian Booth Actors Home located in Englewood, New Jersey.
