Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is an Canadian actor from Canada. Paquin is a Canadian and actress from New Zealand. She was born in Winnipeg but raised in Wellington the city where she was born, she was the first actress to appear on screen in The Piano. In this romantic drama, she was eleven years of age, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full title is Anna Helene Paquin. Born on the 24th of July, 1982 on the 24th of July 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was the first Canadian born New Zealand actress. As a child, Paquin won her the Academy Award for best support actress. Her performance as the talkative and inquisitive character Holly Hunter played in The Piano (1993) was the reason she won the honor. She portrayed teens as teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000). In addition, she portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
