Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton, born Jan. 19, 1946 in Locust Ridge Tenn. to a family of 12 poor children that would be raised in the same household, figured out very young how to overcome of her difficulties with her incredibly vivid imagination. Before learning how to read and write, Dolly Parton was creating her own music. When she was 8, she got the first electric guitar she owned and began singing on a Knoxville Tenn Radio Station. The same time, Gold Band Records was a small independent record label. Although she became a local star while in high school, her ambitions were much bigger. On the very day she graduated from the high school in 1964. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. Porter Wagoner's syndicated tv show needed the services of a new singer by this point. Parton took the offer and in the year 1967, she signed to RCA Records in 1968 and joined in the Grand Ole Opry in 1969. The show was cancelled by Wagoner, however, in 1974 due to her albums on her own like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene beat out their collaborative albums. Parton's song, I Will Never Be Loved by You (for Wagoner), hit the No. 1 spot after they separated. In 1974, the song by Parton"I Will Never Love You reached No.
