Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer known as being a part of the group One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school, and with his three classmates, formed a musical band called White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they were winners. In spite of always having always shown interest in music the man also had a dream of becoming the next lawyer or the profession of physiotherapist. He was employed in an area bakery on a part-time basis to help his family financially. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) during the auditions in 2010 to The X Factor. This is why his group had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they would form an ensemble called One Direction after the X The X. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group, and they founded in the year 2010. In the contest, the group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to be the winner. The group was however placed third place behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell nevertheless paid two million dollars for One Direction for them to sign a deal with Syco.
