Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her was Argentine who had Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is Spanish-English. Four of her siblings belong to her father's former marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor-Joy says the move to London was traumatizing and that she didn't learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after she left Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in productions. After she turned sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to pursue a full-time acting career. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actress at a young age. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
